网上预订欧洲的酒店被扣钱是怎么回事？

我在BOOKING网上预订了欧洲的一家酒店，是用来办签证用的，本想签出来就取消的，但是今天银行通知我说是消费了300欧元。
银行说有可能是对方在测试的信用卡的有效性，但是常理上说不可能扣那么多的呀，
很着急，请问谁遇到过这种情况？？？
